Forged 1025 carbon steel for excellent feel and feedback. Progressive muscleback design for optimum trajectory and solid feel throughout the set. Top line relief, rolled leading edge and traditional shaping for improved alignment.
Design "transition" in the irons change from a muscle cavity back in the long irons to a straight blade in the short irons. Blade length from heel to toe gets progressively shorted from long to short irons.
Designed with the better player in mind, the new Ben Hogan FTX irons set out to combine the unique feel and performance of a forged blade in the short irons with the forgiveness of a cavity back in the longer irons.
Thin Face Design and a deep undercut sole in the long irons produce a low rearward centre of gravity for a high/hot launch angle. Iron set progesses to thicker face, higher centre of gravity short irons to control short iron ball flight.
17-4 stainless steel cast construction allows extreme perimiter weighting design for forgiveness on off-centre hits. The large sweet sport provides great feel and solid ball contact.
